Yup, I got Sherlocked. Apple even used the name of the beta app I had in TestFlight as the name the feature they released. I only found out about the upcoming feature release when someone else in the industry emailed me to say they didn't know I was working with Apple. I wasn't!

Same functionality. Same type of demo video. Same name. Ugh.

It was galling to read the news reports about Apple being "innovative".

I've thought of reaching out to the head of the relevant dev team at Apple, but then I can't imagine that'll do any good.

My next step may be cross-platform, just as you mentioned in your article. Accessibility for Android has been improving.
