What’s the overlap between computer resources and human sensory resources?

That’s one of the questions I start to answer in a video that includes a personal experience of (contextual) disability.

A bright starburst graphic partially obscuring an image of me wearing earbuds. The starburst, which represents sensory overload, is paired with my imitation of a loud motorcycle at the end of the video linked below.
This image makes sense in context!

In the video, I mention the topics of future videos in the series:

  • Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
  • Hand Detection
  • Region of Interest: subimage processing
  • Audio Interfaces
  • Multimodal / Multisensory Feedback
  • Sync / Async, Parallelism, and Computing Resources
  • Sensory Overload

That last topic, sensory overload, is a special treat / nightmare.

The Video

This chapter in the video series is just a little over 7 minutes long.

Yup, that image is in the video. With fun sounds, too!
