My startup Echobatix is developing wearable indoor navigation technology for the visually impaired, including the blind, the DeafBlind, and those with low vision.

The website serves visually impaired people first. If the website ever includes images, then expect those images to include snarky alt text as a surprise for people using screen readers.

In future blog posts there will be plenty to write about: the principles by which the company runs; how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected our plans; and the problems of sighted engineers like me designing technology for the blind community.
